Our story

A missed train.
A very good coffee.
The easiest yes.

We met on a rainy platform in Bologna when a delayed train turned into coffee, then dinner, then a weekend neither of us wanted to end.

Five years, three homes and one very spoiled dog later, Luca proposed at sunrise above Florence. Emilia said yes before he finished the question.

“Home was never a place after that. It was wherever we were together.”

Travel & stay

Fly into Milan Malpensa, then allow 75 minutes by car. Shuttle departures from Bellagio hotels will be shared closer to the date.

Dress code

Garden formal. Think suits, long or midi dresses and shoes comfortable on stone paths. Deep colour is warmly encouraged.

Gifts & phones

Your presence is enough. We also invite you to keep phones tucked away during the ceremony and be fully there with us.

Before you pack.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will name everyone included in your party. If you are unsure, send us a note before submitting the RSVP.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but the wedding day will be an adults-only celebration unless children are named on your invitation.

How do I reach the villa?

Shared shuttles will run from selected Bellagio hotels. Final pickup points and times will arrive by email two weeks before the wedding.

What happens if it rains?

Every event has an indoor plan inside the villa, so the celebration continues whatever the lake weather brings.
